A Detroit-area hospital system is looking for a few good Canadian nurses.
The Henry Ford Health System is holding a virtual open house, as part of a recruitment drive. Positions for registered nurses available at the main Detroit campus, as well as Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital.
The open house is scheduled for Friday, July 16, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., but registration is underway.
Nurse leaders will be available to explain opportunities and answer questions. An immigration lawyer from Ellis Porter, PLC, will also be on hand to discuss requirements for employment in the U.S.
Full-time, part-time, and contingency positions are available for nurses in general medicine units, surgical units, ICUs, emergency departments, and surgical services. There is a preference for experienced nurses who have passed the NCLEX exam.
