Health unit warns of COVID-19 exposure at Windsor drug store

If you were at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Dougall Avenue near Cabana Road in Windsor recently, you might have been exposed to COVID-19.

The Windsor-Essex Health Unit has issued an exposure alert for that location for three dates earlier this month.

The dates of exposure are on Saturday, May 8, from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., Sunday, May 9, between 4 p.m. and 12 a.m., and on Tuesday, May 11, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

If you were at the store during those times, the health unit asks that you self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 for the next two weeks.

This is the third exposure alert in four days in Windsor-Essex.  Over the weekend, it issued an alert over the weekend for two dates in May at Colasanti's Tropical Gardens in Kingsville.  On Friday, there was one for three Transit Windsor routes.
