OPP serious about catching Kingsville vandal

Since the beginning of March, someone has been spray-painting graffiti in spots all over the Town of Kingsville, and the Ontario Provincial Police are taking it very seriously.

"Graffiti is not art. It is mischief," read a release from police Wednesday morning. "Mischief is the willful destruction and damage of property. It is a Criminal Code offence and may be punishable by a prison term of up to ten years."

A white teen between the ages of 16 and 22 was spotted around 5:40 p.m. on March 3.

Police said the suspect is male with a medium build and was wearing a toque, grey hoodie, and dark pants. He was carrying a black backpack.

Police would like to hear from anyone with information. Call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be left online at www.catchcrooks.com.
