New upgrades at Bridgeview Park in Windsor should be done this month.
Just the new lighting needs to go in, and that should start soon. If the weather permits, it could be done by the end of March.
"Bridgeview Park is located in the heart of the Bridgeview neighbourhood and has been an active park since I could remember as a child," said Ward Two Councillor Fabio Costante.

The upgrades include new park benches, fully-accessible and paved pathways, new trees, and more parking so residents can more easily access the community centre.
There are also new features to prevent flooding. Two new soak pits will store excess water underground rather than in city sewers.
"This investment in Bridgeview Park is part of council's continuing commitment to improve outdoor green spaces and facilities that raise the quality of life for residents and strengthen community bonds," said Mayor Drew Dilkens. "These upgrades not only help promote healthy, active, outdoor recreation -- but they also align with our sewer master plan by reducing surface flooding and diverting water from our municipal system."
