A Detroit couple, expecting a baby, wanted to make sure their entire family was involved in their gender reveal, so they lit up the Detroit Skyline.
Alecia and Brett Stowell are used to thinking outside of the box. When Brett Stowell proposed, he rented a hot air balloon.
Now that the couple is married, they knew they had to do something memorable, even if they could not physically be with their friends and family.
"It was kind of shoot for the stars, and maybe you'll land on the moon," said Brett. "I had emailed Bedrock and told them a little bit of our story. They emailed me back and said, 'hey, yeah, we'd love to help you out with that."

Bedrock is a commercial real estate firm in downtown Detroit. It owns the Ally Detroit Centre and One Woodward Avenue.
Once the details were taken care of, the two told their friends and family in Windsor to gather at the foot of Ouellette Avenue at 7 p.m. Sunday.
"All my girlfriends had a ton of balloons and confetti -- my family was all there too, and then we were at the Hart Plaza directly across from them," explained Alecia Stowell. "It was fun."
When the time came, the top of the Ally Detroit Centre and One Woodward Avenue lit up pink to announce the Stowells are expecting a baby girl.
"As it started to glow and get brighter, we started cheering on our side and then all of the sudden, you could hear everybody from across the river, horns blaring," said Brett Stowell.
