Police investigating multi-vehicle collision

The Windsor Police Service is looking for surveillance footage of a serious collision that sent one person to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened on Riverside Drive west near Crawford Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Three vehicles, including a patient transport vehicle, a Kia and a Sebring were involved in the crash.

Several people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One driver, a teenage boy, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The patient transport vehicle was not transferring a patient at the time of the crash.

Witnesses reported to police the Sebring was speeding at the time of the collision. However, no charges have been laid at this time.

The collision remains under active investigation and anyone with information or video footage is asked to contact police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4000.
