Want to help shape a better community?

In the coming weeks, Windsor-Essex residents will have the opportunity to help build the first-ever Community Safety and Well-Being Plan through a series of surveys and public meetings.

Similar plans are being formulated by municipal governments across the province as mandated by the Ontario government. It is amending the Police Services Act and the Safer Communities Act.

It is a chance for residents to help create a community where everyone feels safe, has a sense of belonging, and has their needs met. Topics include financial security, mental and physical health, education, crime and housing.

The public survey is open now and is available online until Monday, March 15. It is available in English, French, Spanish, and Arabic.

The public meetings will take place over Zoom.
