If you made your decision to have your child learn from home or in-school, but are now rethinking your decision, the Greater Essex County District School Board is giving you more time to decide.
The Request for Change Survey is open again to allow any changes.
If you have already made your decision you do not have to do anything, but the survey is open to those who wish to alter it.
Remember, the change requested this time will be the one your child has until the end of the school year.
The survey is on the school board's website.
Changes need to be submitted no later than 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 26. The date for the model change is set for Tuesday, February 16, but the school board needs time to confirm staffing levels.
Schools are expected to reopen for most students on February 10, but if the Ministry of Education pushes the date back because of provincial or local COVID-19 case counts, the change of model will also be delayed.
If you have any questions about your child's learning model, you can contact their home school.
