Windsor Police have seized almost $1-million worth of drugs and arrested seven people after a ten-month joint investigation with the Canada Border Services Agency.
On December 22, officers swooped down on three homes in the city in an investigation targeting high-level drug trafficking.

At a home on Rooney Street near Wilson Park, they found a loaded firearm, cocaine, cannabis, and isotonitazene, oxycodone, alprazolam, and percocet pills.
Cash, cocaine, and fentanyl was found on Meridian Street near Spago Crescent.
A search warrant at a home on McRobbie Road near Troupe Crescent turned up three firearms and a large sum of cash.
Police say also seized three vehicles.
The street value of the drugs is estimated to be $995,000.
"A significant amount of illicit drugs destined for sale in Windsor-Essex are now off the streets," read a release from the Windsor Police Service. "The seizure of several firearms, one confirmed to have been stolen in the United States, will no doubt have a significant impact on the safety of the entire community."
Officers arrested 35-year-old Elie Aoun, 32-year-old Sayasith Phothitay, 27-year-old Jason Haddad, 62-year-old Joseph Aoun, 64-year-old Nouhad Aoun, 28-year-old Johny Phothitay, and 29-year-old Venessa Crescenzi, all of Windsor.
The charges against the suspects have not been proven in court.
