If you worry Santa Claus can not visit this year because he in lockdown, don't.
The jolly elf's work has been declared an essential service in Ontario.
"As children across Ontario count down the days to Christmas with excitement, I want to reassure all the boys and girls out there that Santa is still coming this year despite the COVID-19 pandemic," said Premier Doug Ford.
Ford said Santa and his reindeer are taking precautions to protect themselves from the virus.
"While this Christmas is different than any other, Santa is taking every safety precaution necessary and will continue to make his rounds," reassured Ford.
The designation means Santa Claus is authorized to deliver toys, treats, and good cheer. Ford declared The Elves' Toy Workshop an essential manufacturing business, and the reindeer essential transportation service providers.
Ford also took the opportunity to thank other essential workers during the pandemic, including grocery store clerks, bus drivers, and maybe news reporters too.
