Family of five out of their home after house fire

An overloaded electrical socket gets the blame for a house fire that displaced five people Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported around 8 a.m. on Central Avenue between Franklin Street and Metcalfe Street.

It started in a second-floor bedroom.

No one was hurt, but Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said the fire caused about $50,000 damage.
