A second case of COVID-19 has been identified at Roseland Public School in Windsor.
However, the Greater Essex County District School Board has not dismissed a second cohort after the Windsor Essex County Health Unit has determined the risk of exposure was low.
CEO and Chief Nursing Officer Theresa Marentette said the individual was a household contact of the case confirmed last weekend.
Parents are asked to continue to monitor their children for symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, cough, difficulty breathing, and change in smell or taste.
This is the fourth case identified at the Greater Essex County District School Board since school began in September.
There have been no school outbreaks at any Windsor-Essex County school to date.
