Provincial police in Essex County had a busy weekend responding to calls for service involving alleged impaired drivers.
Between 6 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday, the Ontario Provincial Police responded to seven impaired driving-related calls, three of which involved minor collisions.
All seven drivers were charged with alcohol-related offences. They also face an automatic driver's license suspension and costs related to towing and impound charges.
The OPP is reminding those drinking or using drugs to plan for alternative transportation.
