Arrest made in assault investigation

Windsor police have arrested and charged a man in connection wth an assault last week.

On Wednesday, September 16, police were called the area of Highland Avenue for a possible stabbing. They found a man who had non-life-threatening injuries to his face that resulted from being hit with a blunt object.

Through an investigation, police officers determined the victim and the assailant were known to each other.

On Saturday, police arrested 41-year-old Justin Davey and charged him with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and possession of a dangerous weapon. None of the charges have been proven in court.
