Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Lakeshore and taken to hospital in serious condition.
The Ontario Provincial Police said the pedestrian was hit by the vehicle on Essex County Road 22 on Thursday, shortly before 10 p.m.
The pedestrian was rushed to hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
Essex County Road 22 between Essex County Road 19 (Manning Road) and Commercial Boulevard was closed for several hours while police investigated, but reopened after 7 a.m. Friday.
