Brampton man charged in fraud investigation

A Brampton man is facing a number of charges after a fraud complaint to Windsor police.

Windsor police got a call Tuesday about a suspected fraud at a business on Lauzon Parkway. The business reported a man was trying to fraudulently obtain a financial loan.

When police officers arrived at the business, they approached a man who then ran from the scene and into a nearby field. Officers quickly contained the area and made an arrest. At the scene, officers located and seized a number of financial documents that did not appear to rightfully belong to the man.

Terence Edusei, 34, of Brampton , is facing 13 criminal charges including fraud, uttering forged documents, identity theft, and resisting arrest.
