Town of Kingsville offering help to local businesses

The Town of Kingsville has launched a new program to help local businesses reopen during the pandemic.

Eligible businesses within the Town of Kingsville can apply got up to $750 in funding to help offset operating costs.

“The town recognizes keeping employees and customers safe has resulted in increased expenditures for our local business community,” said Kingsville Mayor Nelson Santos. “Businesses are spending more on fixtures, equipment, and enhanced cleaning measures in order to stay vigilant in the fight against the virus, and as our region moves forward with each stage of the Province’s reopening plan, those costs continue to add up.”

To be eligible, the business must be registered or be a non-profit, charity or cultural organization in the Town of Kingsville and must be operating out of a property assessed in the commercial class.

Applications will be accepted until October 23, 2020. An application form can be found on the town's website.
