City of Windsor preparing for Stage 2

The City of Windsor is making preparations for city services once the region moves into Stage 2.

As soon as Stage 2 is announced, the city will start to ramp up services for licensing, gaming, marriage licences, outdoor weddings (up to 10 people), counter service for taxation support and permit applications and in-person payment of parking fees.

“The City of Windsor has been preparing for the next stage of our local economic and social re-opening,” said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens. “Once the Province of Ontario allows our community to move to Stage 2 – the City of Windsor will move quickly, and in partnership with our Union and Non-Union staff, to return to service.”

Safety precautions will be in place at both City Hall Square and the McDougall Avenue building to ensure the health and safety of staff and members of the public.

Once the advancement to Stage 2 is announced city staff will require one to two weeks to ramp up services.
