Driver injured in Leamington crash

A driver was treated for non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Leamington.

The Ontario Provincial Police said it happened Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 31 and County Road 18.

Few details have been released, but OPP Constable Jim Root said a sedan and a pickup truck crashed at the intersection. The driver of one of the vehicles was treated in hospital.

The intersection was closed for some time Wednesday so investigators could complete their work, but it is now open again.

Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
