The Ontario Provincial Police responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 3 in Tecumseh on Saturday.
Police closed Highway 3 from Walker Road to Outer Drive to investigate. OPP have since reopened the area to traffic.
The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. Saturday and caused a blockage to the westbound lane between Walker Road and Howard Avenue.
The Tecumseh Fire Department reported on Twitter that there was multiple injuries and say crew members had to extricate a passenger from one of the vehicles. All patients have been taken to hospital but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
No other details have been provided.
