Windsor mom celebrating $250K lottery win

A Windsor mom is looking forward to debt-free living after a big lottery win.

Christine MacDonald was at home watching hockey when she scratched an Instant BINGO multiplier. She won the top prize of $250,000.

“After I scratched my ticket I thought it was a losing ticket but I double-checked it using the OLG Lottery App anyway,” she recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque. “When I realized it was a winner I was so excited I started cheering and jumping up and down.”

MacDonald is in the middle of building a new house and is looking forward to furnishing it.

“I also plan to be debt-free and enjoy the breathing space,” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mobil on Dougall Avenue in Windsor.
