Investigators continue probe of weekend fire

Fire investigators and Windsor police are still examining a weekend fire scene.

The blaze happened early Sunday morning at Hogan's Printing on Tecumseh Road East at Lincoln Road. No injuries were reported, but the fire took roughly seven hours to put out.

The business and its neighbours suffered smoke, fire, and water damage.

Windsor police had canvassed the neighbourhood looking for potential witnesses, along with any surveillance camera video. Officers are working alongside Windsor Fire and Rescue investigators to determine the cause of the fire. According to Sergeant Steve Betteridge, the city's mobile command unit was still on scene as of Monday afternoon.

A damage estimate has not been released.

Anyone with information who has not already spoken with police is asked to call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4330. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
