Police closed the 1300 blocks of Ouellette Avenue and Pelissier Street during the investigation however the roads have since reopened.
The victim of the robbery is being treated in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Major Crime Branch is continuing the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
