American Thanksgiving event supports Sparky's Toy Drive

Advanced Systems Group is hoping its annual American Thanksgiving Day event gives a big boost to Sparky's Toy Drive.

Over 700 people will attend the ticketed event, each with a donation for the toy drive. They hope to raise around $15,000 for the toy drive.

"When we sat down with the Windsor firefighters and the people who run Sparky's Toy Drive we absolutely agreed that the best possible way would be for the firefighters to be able to see what the family needs and be able to look after it with the funds," said Jack Jorgenson, CEO of Advanced Systems Group.

Advanced Systems Group has been holding this event for 28 years. Each year it supports a different local children's charity.

In demand items for Sparky's Toy Drive, this year include board games, craft sets, gifts for girls 11 to 12 years old and toys for one-year-olds.
