Pedestrian injured in Windsor crash

A person has been hospitalized following a crash Monday morning in Windsor.

Windsor police said it happened around 10 a.m. in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Lincoln Road in South Walkerville.

Few details have been released, but investigators said the victim was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes of Tecumseh Road East, and was taken to hospital. Police closed the area to traffic so the investigation could be completed, but it was soon reopened.

There is no word on the pedestrian's condition, or on whether any charges will be laid.
