Windsor police continue to look for information on the disappearance of Jerome Allen.
It's been one year since Allen was reported missing to police. The Major Crimes Branch has reasons to believe Allen was murdered and it continues to investigate his disappearance as a homicide.
A $5,000 reward remains in effect for any information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for Allen's murder. Police are appealing to the public for any information regarding the circumstances of the case.
Allen was last seen in the early morning hours of October 20, 2018, in the west-side of Windsor. He is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He weighed 179 lbs and was 6'6" tall. Allen was living in Windsor at the time of his disappearance but also has ties to the Greater Toronto area.
In 2018, police searched a home on Cross Street in relation to the investigation.
Allen's body has not been recovered.
