Hydro One outage map. Nearly 7,000 Hydro One customers in Leamington and Kingsville have their power back on after a wide-spread, but short outage Wednesday morning.
Crews are still investigating the cause of the outage. Officials had estimated power would be restored around 1 p.m.
The Greater Essex County District School Board tweeted the outage is affecting many schools along the south shore. The board says the phone networks are down but parents can reach the school by calling the board at 519-255-3200.
