A suspect wanted after a stabbing in Windsor on Sunday morning has turned up at a home in London.
Windsor police issued an arrest warrant for 25-year-old Zephaniah Moses after the altercation in the Marentette Avenue and Brant Street area. Two men had been fighting and one suffered stab wounds.
By the time officers arrived, the victim, who was suffering life-threatening injuries, had taken a cab to the hospital.
Police found blood at the scene and canvassed witnesses in the area.
They identified the suspect and went to a house on Assumption Street, just a block and a half away. They did not find Moses, but a search of the home turned up several items pertinent to the investigation.
The arrest warrant was issued, along with a description of the suspect. The public was warned not to approach him because he was considered armed and dangerous.
On Tuesday, members of the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad found Moses at a house in London and arrested him without incident.
He faces charges of attempted murder, assault with a weapon, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
