Catholic Central grad signed to Miami Heat

Windsor has some representation on the Miami Heat.

The NBA team announced it had signed Mychal Mulder, a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Windsor.

The 25-year-old was selected in the first round of the 2017 NBA G League Draft and appeared in 47 games with the Windy City Bulls last season where he averaged 13.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.

Mulder played two seasons at the University of Kentucky before he was picked up in the NBA draft. Before that, he was at Vincennes University.

Terms of the agreement were not released.
