The man wanted in relation to the homicide investigation was arrested without incident on Saturday shortly after 12:30 p.m.

"Upon arrival, officers conducted an investigation, and have now deemed this death to be a homicide," said police in a news release Thursday afternoon.

Police said a body was discovered inside a student housing unit on Mill Street and Wyandotte Street Wednesday morning by the landlord. The victim has been identified as a 64-year-old woman from Windsor.

A cause of death or a motive have not been made public, however, investigators believe the victim and the accused knew each other.

Investigators had released a photo of the suspect Friday afternoon, but have since removed it following his arrest.

It's Windsor's third murder of the year.
