Windsor Fire and Rescue Services looking for firefighters

If you've always wanted to be a firefighter, now is your chance.

The City of Windsor is accepting applications for the 2019/2020 recruitment until noon Wednesday, July 24.

Applicants have to be at least 18-years-old, be legally entitled to work in Canada, and must have an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency.

Anyone applying will also need to provide proof of a valid Class D driver's license with "Z" endorsement in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act, and a driver's abstract.

The city only accepts applications online. If you do not have a valid email address, you may have to go to the Human Resources Department at 400 City Hall Square East, Suite 408 to fill out the application.
