UPDATE: Windsor intersection partially reopened after crash

Windsor police have partially reopened an intersection closed as the result of an e-bike crash.

It happened shortly after noon on Wednesday in the intersection of Drouillard Road and Wyandotte Street East in Ford City. Police said an e-bike, the only vehicle involved, apparently struck a pole. The intersection is an underpass for the railway line that services the nearby train station.

There has been no official word on the severity of any injuries.

Police had closed Wyandotte Street East between Albert Road and Cadillac Street, as well as Drouillard Road between Edna Street and Riverside Drive East.

The intersection has been reopened to traffic in all directions except for on westbound Wyandotte Street East. Drivers should turn to Strabane Avenue at the light and use Riverside Drive East until that direction has been reopened.
