The Killers to return to Caesars Windsor

One of the top-selling bands of the 21st century will return to Windsor this summer.

Caesars Windsor announced Monday morning that The Killers will play the Colosseum stage on July 9 in an all-ages show. The band last performed at the casino in June 2016.

The Las Vegas-based quartet first hit the music scene in 2003 with their smash hit "Mr. Brightside", which reached the top-10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US. Their debut album, Hot Fuss, sold seven million copies worldwide and reached the top of the British album chart.

Other notable singles from the band include "Somebody Told Me" and "All These Things That I've Done". The band's latest album, Wonderful Wonderful, came out in the fall of 2017 and reached the top of the U.S., British, and Australian album surveys.

The Killers have been nominated for seven Grammy Awards and have won three Brit Awards, a World Music Award, and an MTV Video Music Award.

Tickets begin at $63 each, according to the casino. They go on sale Friday at noon at the Caesars Windsor box office or online.
