Teen charged after shots fired at Windsor home

A 17-year-old Windsor boy faces gun charges after someone fired shots at a home on Tourangeau Road on two different occasions.

Officers were called to the house near the corner of Milloy Street just after midnight Friday, March 8.

Investigators found shell casings nearby.

The next night, neighbours called 911 to report they heard gunshots being fired again in the same area.

That time, investigators found a bullet inside the house and a second bullet lodged in a window frame.

No one was home at the time, and no one was hurt in either incident.

Officers arrested the teen on Saturday.

Police will not name the suspect because he is under 18 but said he faces two counts of discharging a firearm and two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The investigation is ongoing, and police ask anyone with information to call them at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
