Following the sudden departure of Tom Touralias, the Town of Lakeshore has named an interim chief administrative officer.
Mary Masse will take over the position Monday after Touralias was dismissed after four years back in January.
"Council and I are thrilled to welcome Mary back to the Town of Lakeshore," said Mayor Tom Bain. "Mary is a true team player that knows our organization extremely well. She is widely respected throughout the town, and we can't wait to have her back in the office."
Masse will hold the job until a permanent replacement is found.
The town never gave a reason for Touralias's dismissal.
