Work to replace old watermains on Rourke Line in Lakeshore begins on Tuesday.
The construction will be from County Road 22 to Caille Avenue and is expected to take about two months to complete.
The town added there will be some inconvenience to local traffic and on-street parking during construction but the town is working with the contractor to minimize disruptions.
Town officials urge people to mark their garbage and recycling containers with their house number so they're returned to the correct property after collection.
