Muslim community in Windsor looking for answers after break-ins

Windsor police are looking for witnesses to solve two break and enters at two Muslim facilities.

Investigators said the first happened at the mosque on Dominion Boulevard and Northwood Street on Monday at approximately noon. Police said a door was forced open and a safe was stolen, along with a video surveillance storage system. Officers later recovered the opened stolen safe outside a business on Walker Road near Seymour Boulevard.

The Windsor Islamic Association is also reporting another break-in a few weeks ago at the An-Noor Private School on Janette Avenue near Shepherd Street in west Windsor.
