Spitfires fall 4-1 to 67's

The Windsor Spitfires dropped a 4-1 decision to the Ottawa 67's in OHL action on Friday.

After a scoreless first period, the 67's were first on the board with two goals in the second. Kyle McDonald scored for Windsor late in the frame to cut Ottawa's lead in half.

The 67's controlled the third period and scored two unanswered goals to ensure the win.

Windsor goalie Michael DiPietro made 27 saves out of 30 shots on net.

The Spitfires are in Peterborough on Saturday to battle the Petes at 7:05 p.m.
