Prime Minister Justin Trudeau busy touring Windsor

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has announced that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will visit the Windsor Assembly Plant on Friday.

Trudeau will arrive at Tecumseh Road and Chrysler Centre at 1:30 p.m. Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour Patricia Hajdu will join the prime minister on a tour of Windsor's largest employer where the Chrysler Pacifica, Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and Dodge Grand Caravan are all built.

Before that, Trudeau will make an announcement regarding the Gordie Howe International Bridge at the Canadian Port of Entry on Prospect Avenue at 9 a.m. along with Minister of Infrastructure and Communities François-Philippe Champagne.

Then at 10:45 a.m., the prime minister and Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, Patricia Hajdu, will participate in a roundtable discussion with labour union leaders at the Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel on Riverside Drive.

At 12:30 p.m., Trudeau will attend the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority BBQ and will make a speech at Senator David A. Croll Park on University Avenue East.

At 2:45 p.m., the prime minister will tour the Unemployed Help Centre of Windsor and will participate in the Thanksgiving turkey distribution at 6955 Cantelon Dr.
