Parents dropping off their children at St. James Catholic Elementary School in Windsor may have noticed a police presence Wednesday morning.
Windsor police confirm they are conducting an investigation at the school.
Sergeant Steve Betteridge said a teacher at the school made a complaint, and a person of interest has been identified.
He told BlackburnNews.com the person is not connected to the school.
A spokesman for the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board, Stephen Fields, would not comment on the nature of the investigation, calling it a police matter.
He said there is no immediate threat to students at the school.
