Warrant out for man with Windsor connections

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man known to frequent the Windsor-Essex area.

Ontario Provincial Police said Colin Willson, 33, is a federal offender wanted as a result of a breach of statutory release, and the OPP's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is asking the public for help in locating him.

Willson is serving a five-year and seven-month sentence for public mischief, two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance, two counts of possession of a Schedule II substance, break-and-enter, and assault causing bodily harm.

He is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 170 pounds. He has a tattoo of a cross on his right shoulder and one of the word "Loyalty" on his right hand.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. Tipsters are also asked to contact the Provincial ROPE Squad toll-free at 1-866-870-7673 (ROPE), or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
