There's been a coyote attack in Lasalle.
Police report a coyote attacked a small dog on Reaume Road near Matchette Road earlier in the week. They said a concerned woman went to the station to report that her small dog had been attacked by a coyote while the dog was in the side yard.
Residents are being reminded to exercise caution when letting small dogs out, especially in the early morning and evening hours. Police recommend that you turn exterior lights on, regularly clean up your dog's feces, and keep a constant eye on your animals.
