(John Chippa photo for BlackburnNews.com)The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County have arrested a woman for allegedly riding drunk on her motorcycle.
The OPP say an officer spotted a woman on a motorcycle allegedly without her helmet near County Rd. 50 in Colchester South Sunday night. The officer says the 38-year-old woman from Essex was showing signs of impairment when he stopped her.
She is charged with impaired driving. Her licence has been suspended for 90 days and her motorcycle has been impounded for seven days.
West Region OPP says the incident was isolated with no ongoing risk to public safety
Lambton OPP are on the lookout for a break and enter suspect.
