Callers Help Get Dangerous Drunk Driver Off The Road

A 23-year-old Windsor man has been charged with dangerous driving and impaired driving after police got complaints about a driver forcing other vehicles off the road.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they stopped a vehicle on County Rd. 20 in Kingsville Saturday night that was doing more than twice the posted speed limit. The driver, who police say was showing signs of impairment, was arrested.

The suspect is also charged with refusing to provide a breath sample.

His vehicle has been seized and his driver's licence suspended.

The OPP is commending callers for immediately contacting the OPP when erratic driving is witnessed.
