Windsor Driver Arrested After Crash

A 32-year-old Windsor woman is facing charges after an overnight crash.

Windsor police say two vehicles collided head-on on Friday around 3:30am on Pillette Rd. south of Tecumseh Rd. E.

Both vehicles sustained extensive front-end damage and police say debris was scattered all over the area.

Both drivers were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

One of the drivers was arrested and faces a charge of impaired driving causing bodily harm. She was released on a promise-to-appear with a future court date.

Pillette Rd. near Tecumseh Rd. E. was shut down for several hours Friday morning while police completed their investigation.
