Two Lakeshore men have some explaining to do following a raid in which multiple firearms and drugs were seized.
The Ontario Provincial Police say officers carried out a raid at a home on Girard Dr. off Pascal Ave. in Emeryville on Monday.
A firearm, ammunition, and quantities of heroin, marijuana, cocaine, and methamphetamine were seized in the operation.
An 88-year-old man has been charged with the following:
- Three counts of careless storage of a firearm, weapon or ammunition
- Possession of a Schedule I substance
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Two counts of possession of a prohibited device
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon.
A 63-year-old man is being held in custody. He is charged with the following:
- 12 counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a probation order
- 10 counts of failure to comply with recognizance
- Three counts of careless storage of a firearm or ammunition
- Possession of a Schedule I substance
- Three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance with the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000
- Possession of stolen property over $5,000
- Two counts of possession of a prohibited device
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon.
