Two Arrested In Windsor Break And Enter

Two men have been arrested after a Windsor home was broken into.

Windsor police say it happened around 5:30am on April 6. Officers were sent to a home on Oak St. between Wyandotte St. W and University Ave. W for a report of a break-and-enter.

The elderly resident told police he was awakened by the sound of an intruder in his bedroom. When the man noticed the resident, he ran from the scene.

Credit cards were among the items taken.

Police then say the stolen credit cards were used a few hours later at some area gas stations and convenience stores.

Two suspects were identified and arrested Wednesday in separate locations in the city.

The two men, both 46, have been charged with break-and-enter, possession of stolen property and multiple counts of fraud-related charges involving the use of stolen credit cards.
