A Windsor man is facing charges after allegedly robbing a convenience store in downtown Windsor.
Around 1am on Wednesday, an employee ran from the store on Ouellette Ave. near Erie St. to call the police. The employee reported that he had been robbed and threatened with a beer bottle during the robbery.
When police arrived the suspect was still in the store. He allegedly ignored commands by the officer and was arrested after a brief struggle.
A 23-year-old is charged with robbery and breach of undertaking.
