Ontario's review of police street checks, also known as carding, comes to the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts Monday night.
Justice Michael H. Tulloch is conducting public meetings across the province before publishing a report for the provincial government no later than next January 1.
Consultations have already been held in Thunder Bay, Brampton, Hamilton, Ajax, Markham, and in Toronto. A meeting is planned for London on Wednesday night at the Delta Hotel London Armouries.
Public consultations will start at 6pm in the Skyline A Ballroom, although a light supper will be served starting at 5pm. The meeting is expected to wrap up by 8pm.
Tulloch wants to hear from the public about the new rules introduced in January 2017, and whether the changes have been useful. He also will meet with police services, community groups, indigenous groups, and other organizations.
