Leamington OPP station. (Photo by Ricardo Veneza)A Leamington teen is facing stunt driving charges after a vehicle was spotted driving 140 km/hr in a posted 50 km/hr zone.
Leamington OPP stopped the car on Bevel Line around 9:40am Thursday while conducting speed enforcement control.
A 17-year-old male from Leamington is charged, his driver's license has been suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
He will appear in a Leamington court to answer to the charge.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
